Filth launches at MINT in Leeds 13th October
Posted by Jukeboxpr on Oct 4, 2007 - 11:17:19 PM

FILTH LAUNCHES AT MINT

After the stepping off the plane from Ibiza after hosting the back room of Privilege at the closing party, Filth time rolls around again, as we launch our brand new party on 13th October at Mint in Leeds. With another top-drawer line up guaranteed to get the new-born electro fans of Leeds hopping and bouncing around Mint like a mosh pit on a bouncy castle. This month Filth has invited some of the hottest young producers around, Leeds hero and Roger Sanchez’s one to watch Daley Padley and Toolroom producer Kim Fai.

A Yorkshire native, Daley Padley has been producing some of the hottest electro house on the scene for a good few years now, quietly building up a fan-base from his releases on Compulsive Music, Stealth, Suesse Records and his own label Struggle Digital. His sound bridges the gap between the brain food of electro filth and the feet fodder of the funkiest house. Imagine sliced vocals, clicky shuffling beats and dirty bass stabs being thrown into a blender switched to random and poured out into a frosted glass of funk. Sounds good? We think so. He will be joined by young Toolroom producer Kim Fai, who has been rocking many a dance floor from London to Leeds and back. At only 25, he’s only just getting into his stride and has several major new releases due over the coming months, for labels like Toolroom, an EP on Groovedigital, Pop Pop as well as huge remixes for Funkagenda and Trophy Twins.

We’re very proud to be bringing to Leeds our trademark pumping filthy sounds and our legendary carnival atmospheres. As always, the trusty Filth residents Dale Castell, Kiel Edwards, Gav Bailey and Ginna will be whipping out some top-notch bangers, expect sexy, dirty, filthy music from these boys.

With all the usual treats and friendly faces, this looks set to be the launch of another blinding party from the Filth crowd in Leeds – come and get some of that wonky action!
