Arguably still weighing in as the UK’s leading super club Godskitchen has been a forerunner of the UK’s club scene since it’s inception in the mid 90s. Here they deliver their first compilation for 2007 and also their first for
New
State Music.
Godskitchen Electric
sees this globally renowned club brand deliver two CDs of the finest Electric House and Electric Trance, capitalising on the massive crossover that has taken place within the electro house, techno and trance scenes of the last 6-8 months, seeing trance inspire house & electro and vice versa. This compilation takes the hottest of these two sounds and delivers one superb album showcasing the best of both worlds and everything that has happened in between!
CD1 ‘Electric House’
sees massive tracks such as ‘Take No Shhh’ by Fredde Le Grand presents Flamingo,
‘Body Language’ by M.A.N.D.Y Vs Booka Shade (Funkagenda’s Tell ‘Em About The Cobs’ Mix), Pryda’s ‘Remember’, Ferry Corsten’s ‘Junk’ (D.Ramirez Dub), Eyerer & Chopstick ‘Haunting’ (Christopher Just Remix) alongside the first use of Tiësto’s brand new single ‘In The Dark’ (Dirty South Remix).
CD2 ‘Electric Trance’
ups the tempo (only slightly mind) with killer electro inspired trance including the first uses of inspirational tracks such as ‘Grasshopper’ from Sander Van Doorn, Tiësto’s ‘Lethal Industry’ (Richard Durand Remix), ‘Analog Feel’ by Cosmic Gate (LiveCut Remix) a super exclusive new mix of Djuma Soundsystem’s incredible ‘Les Djinns’ (by Swen Weber) and with out and out anthems like ‘Domino’ by Oxia and ‘Pulvertutm 2.0’ by Niels Van Gogh Vs Eniac (Eric Smax & Thomas Gold Remix), you know a winner is born.
Without over using a key PR phrase it certainly isn’t ‘rocket science’ but you can be 100% sure those super in-the-know peoples at Godskitchen have put together one of the most on it, must have compilations available out there in club land right now.
