Original Hard Dance Brand ‘Fevah’ relaunch in UK & Eire.
Posted by GDM Management Ltd on Sep 20, 2007 - 11:38:19 AM

In the beginning Fevah was started purely as a members only party, as at that time the back streets of Soho wasn’t the most savoury of places, the rule was, you had to have a membership card to get in, or be with a known member, and this also made for one hell of an atmosphere as you would normally know everyone in the club.

From there Fevah went on to complete a phenomenal six year run in the UK scene which included bespoke events in some of the UK’s hottest nightspots including weekly residencies at Heaven (London), Sound Shaft (London) and ‘The Tube’ Nightclub (London), and one off guest events at Astoria (London), The Fridge (London), Ministry of Sound (London) and the Infamous Brixton Academy no less.

All this coupled with having held parties in the USA, Australia and New Zealand and being branded alongside giants such as Nukleuz Recs, Frantic, Sundissential plus to many more to mention, also having been the only brand in the UK to have been given the honour of holding the only official Tony De Vit memorials ever held in the big smoke, plus not forgetting the parties they held at 20000 capacity festivals and successful tours to Ibiza with giants Frantic and running 500-1000 capacity boat parties to Germany and back, Fevah were and always will be a force to be reckoned with.

With so many accolades and the chance to get back to normality, the fevah boys jetted back to there homelands for a well earned rest.

Now Fevah Global believe the time has come to pack away the family dingy, lock up the picnic hamper and begin the next phase of the Fevah dynasty, and what a treat we have for you.

Firstly Fevah are very proud to announce none other than Hard Dance Legend, Carl Nicholson as their new UK Resident, Carl has been an avid fevah boy since the very first parties at ‘The Tube’ and has gone on to become one of the scene’s hottest properties, 7 Top 20 national dance chart entry’s, 28 releases including massive household labels including Tidy, Nukleuz, Elasticman and Traffic Records, tracks signed to over 15 compilations including the a triple bill on the infamous Euphoria series, and that’s just in the last 3 years.  Recently described by global dance honchos Most Wanted as ‘One of the most energetic and effervesant performers you are ever likely to see’ Carl will set the standard for Fevah to reclaim its title as one of the most innovative and fresh promotions on the circuit, plus he will be flying the flag for Fevah at other major brands including Slinky, Heat UK and Judgement sundays!  If you have never seen one of Carl’s performances, then to be honest you haven’t really lived!

Secondly, alongside Carl we have a brand new Fevah girl to take the helm, Siren of Hard Dance, Sazz, has been in the hard dance scene for eight years now and fast becoming        recognized for her electric performances and driving production work. Already she has clocked up some serious air miles with tours to SA, Europe, Singapore plus her heavy DJ schedule in the UK and an absolutely stuffed studio diary with releases already out on no less than 6 labels, this can mean nothing but that this girl has an extremely bright future.

We at Fevah feel these guys are destined for much bigger things and are very proud to have obtained such talent at such a crucial time of our development, if Carlsberg made DJ’s they would definitely fit the bill.

Well onward and upwards and ‘Fevah’ is very excited to announce it’s relaunch to which is scheduled for around July 2007, and what a raucous it is gonna make,  we have already signed some absolutely spectacular tracks for you to get your teeth into by some seriously established names of which we will announce in due course, plus we have the entire back catalogue of fevah tracks which boast such artists as Prime Mover, Steve Blake, Carl Nicholson and Phil Reynolds that are being reworked, reedited and remixed to suit today’s market, plus on top of this fevah will be launching the new ‘Fevah Breaks & Electro’ Label to run in conjunction with the launch.

This is all being orchestrated between one of the original promoters, Eamonn Kilgraf and Fevah’s newly appointed Label and UK manager Ugly Dave formerly of Scum Recordings, Dave has been a fairly silent yet intrinsic part of the Hard Dance/UK Clubbing Scene for over 14 years and ‘Fevah’ are very happy to have got him on board and look forward to a much brighter and confident future with his help and expertise.

So expect a Brand new record label, Brand new Resident DJ’s, and a brand new concept of clubbing all together.

Well for the moment that is all we can release but be assured ‘Fevah’ may not be a name that you are now very familiar with, but given time it will be one that you will never ever forget.

‘There are no stranger’s here, only friends that you haven’t yet met’ Fevah 2007
