With CAYENNE RECORDINGS continuing its fine tradition of being one of the UK’s finest purveyors of all things funky house, we’re very pleased to be bringing you a little taste of sunshine in the form of new signings STEREO MUTANTS with their debut CAYENNE EP, ‘MUNDO LATINO EP’.
STEREO MUTANTS are masters when it comes to sun-drenched house music on a Latino tip. Both tracks on the EP are totally geared towards the cooler funky house scene and for house music lovers who love hearing live instruments in their house music. The boys have already had loads of success providing productions for the likes of DEFECTED and MN2S RECORDINGS, two other fine names in house music!
STEREO MUTANTS fuse together beautiful rhythmic percussion parts, undulating baselines and a very sexy acoustic guitar part as well as brass and flute stabs in ILYAMA…oh and check out those cool as vocals too…
On the flip side is CON MIGO with its spine tingling spoken vocals, warm lush chords and infectious percussion. Once again, the mutants fuse together live instrumentation on this track. Having already been tested at the coolest of cool venues such as THE CROSS etc, this gets people on the dancefloor and into a Latino frame of mind!!!
