Just out of sheer curiousity, Would anyone else here invest in a luxury restaurant for 2 - 3 million pounds, then employ 25 unemployed, non-trained teenagers to run it, with only four weeks odd to train them yourself ?

Not if were a serious restuaranter, or chef, who knew how to cook and was intrestrested in pushing the boundaries of modern cuisine.

But IMHO if i were a publicity hungry mockney tosser, who could no more run a succesful restuarant, than a piss up in a brewery, that channel four were paying shed loads to back up the venture. Then I might yes.

nb He is not training them. He can't cos he's never worked in a proper restuarant as anything other than a trainee. The skilled chefs he employee's on Sainsbury's, Channel Four, and all the other publicity and PR [censored] he get's ticket are training them. He just turn's up when the camera's are there.

Jamie Oliver is not worth the shit on Gordon Ramsey's shoes!!

Gordon Rasmey is a nice bloke. I've met him, and he's cool. He run's a tight ship in his kitchen cos he is producing the best food in the world, and hasn't got the time, or won't risk his reputation with people who fuck up!!
