Granted, it does look like a big rock cake, but it tastes like bread. I was dead proud at the time.

I didn't put any hash in the bread in the end. It would have been a waste, seeing as how it has to last me over Xmas.

God I used to LOVE making bread - why is it that you JUST CANT BEAT homemade bread - better than any bread you buy in the shops - even the freshly baked stuff - why ?!?!

the sense of satisfaction that you made it yourself? oh and the lovely smell the kitchen fills with when you're abking it also helps.

My ex-g/f is allergic to normal bread so we knocked up a home-made pizza from scratch, using gluten-free bread mix to make the base. Turned out surprisingly well!
Like cooking in general, it's quite fun if you can be arsed!
