At the end, do you shoot him, or get him banged up?

Shooting him feels good, but it fulfils his plan.

And anyone got any good theories about it? I like the thory that Somerset, being disillusioned with the world after however many years on the force, decides to set up a huge horror that will shock the world into seeing how fucked up it is. He seems to do very well at solving the case, doesn't he?

i know it was on tv earlyer and i'm not saying it wasnt that film he was wrong. i really worded it badly as what i ment was:

that also sounds like another film u could be talking about

basically what i was tying to say was theres another film that fitted the same description
