easily one of the worst djs i've ever heard. and most of the people watching him appeared to have no sense of rhythm whatsoever, either.
still, each to their own.
it was worst ive ever seen him to be honest... youd think he would plan a set of this size gig...lol

exactly! it just sounded as if he was throwing records together with no care for what was coming next. i grinned when he stuck on Binary Finary and when i saw a massive spaceman dancing away on stage, and that was about it.
wouldn't have minded seeing jon o'bir though

Before people start jumping up and down and pointing fingers about the laser water fountain, please, please, please click here and visit the page on the SS site that raves about what was going to happen at Long Marston Airfield... The "centrepiece" of a "magical wonderland" was supposed to be a "20ft water spray fountain with a colossal laser projector, beaming 3D images hovering above the ground" - to me, it seems like a place that would stand out so people can find it. Also, I would have expected it on the huge concrete strip (runway?), but it obviously wasn't. I don't think Leedzlad22 should get the blame for this - he had obviously been told in good faith...

Mebe... Would've been nice if the stewards actually had a fooking clue though.
There were also supposed to be 4 of them Yag laser things... There were only 3.
Gods shitted it on the whole hype up... Rain and mud or not, it wasn't the "magical wonderland" I had dreamt up... That said, I did really, really enjoy the whole event, except not meeting everyone I'd hoped to, and not being able to re-find others...

TomD said: by the way bukey, that page from the sundissential web site is the press release from last year, re-written with every instance of "2002" replaced with "2003". the date says "saturday 27th july" and it refers to gkgg 2001 as if it was last year.
Ack. I'd noticed the fook up on the date, didn't realise it was the PR from last year...
I still don't think Leedzlad should be blamed though... He'd been told in good faith... These things happen, unfortunately, a pain in the arse that they are...
Was good meeting ya too, Tom!

Nah, was supposed to be wearing goggles...
In the Strongbow rooms at 7-ish meet (7:30/8ish?) I turned round and said "Yer dancing's sooooo gay, Tom..." to take the piss.... You're reply was "But moo loves it..."
I was wearing glasses, black T, and orange camo trousers...

god, my memory is so bad. i do remember you taking the piss... cunt... but at that point my memory unfortunately goes blank. it's a good job at least one of us remembered what happened, and anyway i'm glad to see i came up with a slightly amusing retort reasonably quickly, under pressure.
i think i seen you again later on in the sundissential tent... not sure though. that's crap as i'm normally ok with memory
