Why does every hard house mix have a track by BK and/or Paul Glazby and/or Andy Farley on it? Are they actually good or are they just "big names" that sell loads of copies?

a little bit from 'a' and a little bit from 'b'. they r good at what they do, but at the end of the day theres lots of smaller names equally good too but dont have the same kinda market value as thier not 'famous'

Bit of both I would say Andy -

I don't rate Andy Farley as a producer, and I feel the only good stuff he has done has been co-produced by BK. I am not a huge fan of his sets either, but he is a very skilled DJ.

BK I don't particularly like as a DJ, but as a producer he is the nads. I have liked most of his productions, but unlike many producers, he is capable of producing all sorts of music - he used to make house and garage stuff many years ago, which was pretty good.

Paul Glazby is over-rated in my eyes, but is still good. I have liked a lot of his recent stuff, and what's been coming out on his label. As a DJ, again, he is good, but not hugely versatile.

Just my opinion though

erm, the 3 dj's u mentioned there r 3 of the most versatile dj's in hardhouse imo.

i've heard glazby play techno, nu nrg and run-of-the-mill hardhouse.

same goes 4 all of the above DJs really
