Can anyone recommend any "multimedia" ie shielded speakers, that give good music performance for under £50.

(Not for me, my absolute zeros do me fine, thankyou very much)

I picked up a pair of Hitachi walkman / multimedia speakers from Currys for £25. Very good they are as well...


Walks quietly but carries a big Fin.

Theres sum fab ones i saw in PC World (that u can buy a lot cheaper thru a magazine or website)

They are very small, but obviously dont sound it.

You want them for PC use?

Although I am tempted to perusade her to just buy some separates from Richer Sound

cant u get a 3.5mm audio jack from sum old earphones that u dont want ne more, and some speeker cable and create ur own leads to plug into profession audio speekers that u would normally have to wire into seperates.

i was looking ito doing this myself a while back and had a little play and it didnt seem to difficalt from what i saw
