As long as he promises not to cause any trouble, from what I've heard he has behavioural problems.

i'm sure i've heard 'might' used in that context in Shakespeare plays. but then that’s not really the best piece of literature to learn grammar by

Any takers?
Not everyone speaks with the same accent so I don't see why everyone sound have to spell properly either.

You're means "you are" as in you're driving me insane = you are driving me insane.
May and might... May is sort of asking for/giving permission as in "May I go to the toilet Miss?"..."No, you may not"
Might is just a possibility. "I might give myself a bikini wax" and "You might be lucky enough win the lottery"
I think thats explained it enough. If not, just ask the substitute teacher, Mr Ginge.

that's kind of right but not really...
"may" is a verbal auxiliary which means "to have the ability to". as in, "you may go now". it can also be reversed to take the form of a question "may i go now?"
might is simply the past form of may - using the same example: "he might have gone". it also functions as the future conditional "he might be there if..."
from looking at the strict definitions of these words, it's clear they've become misused greatly and are now often used interchangeably.
i think english is a beautiful language and it seems mildly amusing how many people, especially online, give others grief for asking people to simply use it right...
"you're" and "your" are two very obvious candidates but also:
"they're", "their" and "there" "to", "too" and "two" "its" and "it's"
it's also amazing how many people don't know how to use an apostrophe properly...
