Actually yes, and no. But I prefer the smoother, funkier grooves myself, and that means a slow-er beat my friend.

Actually u can do sum really cool stuff with it. Have only recently got a cd deck that does it so am still experimenting with it. I'll show u some time if u want. Can't let my secret techniques out to the world.

To be fair.. JUST djin on cd decks makes u very limited ino!! Ok so they have fancy features and they make mixin a lot easier.. u ever been on proper decks? I think u may come unstuck if u did havin only used cd decks!! You dont really see djs in clubs only usin cd decks!!
thats because the industry is cdist. I have used vinyl and can use them just as well given 2 mins practice but i cant do most stuff i can do on cds. They may be easier but then again its a different style and leads to me being able to cue up the next next track when im using all 3 decks ive got. Using just cds is something that some people do. Not many big name djs because as i said, "the industry is cdist" meaning that people who mix with cds have much less respect than those that use vinyl when they shudn't.
