The leaflet with the tablets probably just says something like " you should try to avoid alcohol whilst taking this medication"

but not that you should most definitely stop drinking, so have another pint.

It does say that actually Saving all my binge drinking till next weekend when I go to Notts

Agreed but unfortunately they are not antibotics so they didn't really have the same affect
