I'll revise my list as & when I re-discover my fave tracks of the year...
* Eliteforce "Double Black" - Thrust Records (driving prog/tech house with fantastic percussion)
* Spin Cycle "Workout" - Sonic Fiction EP, Geek Records (punchy but super-funky techno)
* Poloroid "So Damn Beautiful" - Dogzilla remix (so-so production & vocals, but a top techno-trance sandwich all the same)
* Motorcycle "As the Rush Comes" (more of that fluffy trance that I kinda want to hate, but still love)
* Brian Zentz "Liar" (not much subtlety to this one, no-nonsense techno with a wicked bassline)
* Len Faki "Figure 1.3" (tough nasty tribal tech-house)
* Adam Beyer & Henrik B "Perfect Match" - Sound Identification EP, Drumcode (vicious minimal techno, plus a great funky tech track on the flipside)
* Beto Cerutti "Funkeedeep" - International Underground EP Vol 3, Access 58 Records (very quirky funky techno, tough-edged, fantastic production)
* D Diggler "Foreword" - Planet Vision (sort of deep techy filtered trance, if you will)
* Michael Peters "Side Sanctuary" - Difference Recordings (deep hypnotic house, great quirky/techy percussion)
* Bjorn Mandry "Time Factor" (driving, intense progressive house)
* Saltpervert "5am Soho" (deep, dark, haunting house - tuneful dare I say - and great vocals)

a mere technicality.
the tune is so good it actually transcends time. it is at the top of any chart, ever.

I do prefer breathe over red snapper. The vocal really in breathe really gets me tingling.
