Well first of all, the average club prices in Ibiza last year were between 35 and 60 euros. That works about £30 on average. Not cheap but only £10 more than what you would pay at a UK Club (ok yes, I know I've excluded the costs of drinks once you're in there)
Anyway, it has to be put into context: you have the time of your life at some the best clubs in the world - nights you will never forget. If you want a good time these days you have to pay for it. Get use to it - It's only money for fuck sake

That mean your not going? I may go again this year then
sure you only go up the west end all the time anyway don't ya? wouldn't cost you much more than a fiver to get in around there
How you keeping mate? See you for a beer soon hopefully
Let be honest, if you look back a few years ago it was fucking wicked, good atmosphere and full of people. Now it tends to be alot emptier than past years, to me the money aint a problem, it dont really bother me, I'm raking in thousands a week and even own my own skoda. I was speaking from a PERSONAL point of view, I think for me, its time for a change and try something different, its a bit like going to the same club every week, gets a bit boring.
Anyway, fuck this shit, whos coming Miami this year? I'm paying.

Yes. The We Love Sundays closing party at Space in Spetember. I would have happily forked out double that, it was the best day/nite clubbing I've ever had. And besides, how many people paid £45 to queue up for ages in the freezing cold at Gatecrasher NEC this year. It was the same price and nowhere near as good. I honestly thought that all the nights I went to in Ibiza were well worth the cover charge, the music was brilliant and the atmosphere was amazing.
I went out to Ibiza for the first time in 2003 and will definatley be going back in 2004. Yes the drinks are overpriced, and I thought San An was crap but there was so many other things to do out there, a lot of which aren't clubbing-related and don't cost anything. One of my best memories of being out there is swimming at Playa d'en Bossa with 2 of my best friends at sunrise one morning. Cost = free.

Fair play. But like I said I'd rather try something different instead of doing the same place every year. Again, I will state, its not the money. Sometimes the scenery needs changing. That, of course, unless you're wearing a bikini.
