We have been told that the Camden Palace is likely to stop trading as a
club at
the end of February and as a result we sadly announce what is likely to
be our
last parties at the Palace.

Our first ever party at Camden Palace was back in April 1999 when the
queue
stretched from the front doors round the block and back again with 2000
people
already inside and 1500 desperately trying to buy tickets.

Since then Camden Palace has turned into our spiritual home with over
70 events
being held during the Daytime, Nighttime,Saturdays, Sundays and Bank
Holidays!

We have had some immense parties and some special memories at our 2nd
home and
too many to mention but some that have stuck in our mind have been the
following:

*Laboratory: A party dedicated to Lab 4!
*The 1st ever Timeless!
*The 4th
Birthday Celebrations!
*Moving the decks from the booth and onto the stage.

*Tidy vs. Nukleuz!

We are holding 2 last parties so we can play the biggest range of our
favourite
DJs possible and because we know that not everybody will be able to
make the
first party in January. Come and say goodbye to the Palace at the last
ever

Jan 24th - PHILTIME

Our original resident and the man who has rocked the Palace to its
foundations

thats such a shame i was at my first frantic 2wks ago and it was one of the best nights ive had in ages...

yep totally....ive only recently started coming out in london and to go to brixton academy was one thing...but when i went to camden i was like..fucking hell this is amazing....

its going to be missed BUT im sure we will all see it out in style...

No, the promoters who I send the gl into always give me shut off time and for events which are going to be busy the shut off time is way in advance, the one on 24th is still open and so are other frantic events. They would make more money out of selling tickets to peeps after the guest list has shut - this is only coz they are doing me a favour they give me gl option so no its not hype! Usually I get pms/texts about a day b4 the event asking for gl so jsut saying to anyone it's gonna be too l8 by then thats all!

"The Egg & Canvas"...........sounds a right dodgy pub that does

i was told over xmas by some1 (cant remember who) that its still going to be a club after its sold. Prob gonna have a refit etc but in its current state it can only really be a club, or with some large alterations a theatre (or whatever it originally was). Unless its pulled down of course and built into something else.

The Badger and Rabbit I've heard its moving to.

Where is the event going to move too then?

I think eventually it should move to a new purpose built venue with a 10,000 capacity in an out of town location,
With loads of different rooms and one big main room.

I belive this idea could be the future of clubbing.
