I love sitting at my desk on a monday morning doing serious work, remembering just how f*cked up I was on the weekend. That's what makes it all worthwhile...

There's yet another top 100 thing going on on the bbc- comedy this time- I'm hoping to god something like Dad's Army doesn't win. My top five British comedies: 1. Fawlty Towers 2. The Office 3. Alan Partridge 4. The New Statesman (Rik Mayall as Alan B'Stard) 5. Porridge Comedy genius award- Chris Morris for 'The Day Today' and 'Brass Eye'. I love sitting at my desk on a monday morning doing serious work, remembering just how f*cked up I was on the weekend. That's what makes it all worthwhile...

I spent New Year with my younger sister- we went to Turnmills and then got up to mischied back at my flat- we were so monged that we set ourselves a task a day to achieve. Task one was to go and buy 'Father Ted' on DVD (I'd never seen it). Task achieved I watched 13 episodes over the next two days and thought it was fantastic... If you listen to the laughter in Episode 4 of I'm Alan Partridge (the second series)(the one with the 'Bank Holiday Bondathon') you will hear my laughter all over the soundtrack (I was wetting myself during filming)... Don't forget Alan's first chat show series- 'Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge'. He is still the first chat show host to shoot a guest LIVE on BBC television... I love sitting at my desk on a monday morning doing serious work, remembering just how f*cked up I was on the weekend. That's what makes it all worthwhile...
