recently having trouble opening links in a new window...
click on the link, computer freezes for about 20 seconds, window never opens, and my homepage is reset to www.search-space.com

this would seem like some kind of ad-ware to me.
i've got adaware 6.0 which should get rid of it, but doesn't. am i looking at re-installing IE? if so, how would i go about doing this?

Im having exactly the same problem mate!

Run several virus + adware checkers but to no avail!!! Installed an updated version of IE 6 but still no joy!

I dunno what's causing it, so I just fucked IE off and switched to Netscape!!!

PS Try using the 'search' facility in your start menu. Mine stopped working around the same time as IE playing up so I wanna see if it's related.
