Havnt read through all the posts (ok so im lazy) but ive got the tune on a BK sampler & think its wikid!
It appears that generally people are wanting to hear harder / faster music these days judging by the response ive seen recently to hardcore & gabba tunes being dropped into hard house sets.

1stly) fast hard house isnt a new invention. people have been playing and stumping to stuff like that for younks. its just as quickly as people descover that style others leave

2ndly) i wouldnt say it was a genralisation as i know loads of hardhouse lovers that dont like thier hardhouse tupidly fast or hard. plus what about all the lovers of techno/house/trance/prog/breakbeat/etc. they are gaining new bloody as quickly as hardhouse is yet thier hardly orientated by the empasis on harder faster music

just my thoughts on the matter ne way

at the moment it doesn't look like this is going to be released for sometime. It still in promo. It goes up to 210bpm when it's at its fastest.

wouldn't really want this gettin to every single DJ as if a DJ ends his set with it before the main DJ, it's gonna be hard to top because of how fast it goes.

i disagree Jon, maybe hardhouse from hardcore but not drum & base!! I would personally say IMO that most came from Techno & is gonig back that way!!

mixing techno is very different, was chattin to sam about that last night. You only use tiny parts, reason being techno gets very boring quickly if you play the whole track. Also the style in making it is totally different. So i'm told anyway. lol.

Not all techno is completely minimal, but yes, there are a lot of tunes that are dull if played in their entirety!

I'm not sure I agree that writing techno is radically different to other styles of music. After all, most dance music is based around a simple minimal groove, albeit with more peripheral "fluff".

aye i was chattin to Sam last night and he was sayin that most techno tracks start with everything in, unluck most hard trance and hard house tracks that start with a build up into the main track.

Nothing wrong with gradually building up. I still love loads of progressive stuff. What is annoying is when every single tune builds up in exactly the same way. (Here's a theme, in come the hi-hats, in comes the clap, etc ... talk about signposted music!)

Having said that, it is equally crap when a DJ just plays super-minimal tracks. Variety is the spice of life, and there are too many DJs who dig themselves into a tiny musical niche.

this is 1 reason i've gone off tidy recently. i can tell 'hangs' to the second.

never listened to accelerate on it;s own. in a set though i like it, a lot. it's something different and fun

no I'm not saying that am I :P

I'm saying one reason i've gone to tidy events less recently is because i generally knew exactly what their tunes were gonna do.

i found myself standing the dancefloor off my face or on it, and the way the tunes were flowing was actually bringing me down because to me they kept starting/stopping and didnt flow for me. there are some fookin blinding tunes which i love -- and biomehanika is 'tidy' but he plays a diff style and he's 1 of my favourite dj's.

so I'm just saying that recently tidy sets haven't been doing "it" for me so i've been going less. in two months time they might have changed style and i might luvvem again

St. Reat Ham.
Bit of a novelty tune IMO, sounds good to start with but wouldn't buy it.

Probably sound better in a club than it does in a car.
