Do you object to use of the word gaylord?

sorry Mr Happy - I meant banter in terms of the certain words we keep using.

being cliquey
its not a crime to speak to people or be nicer to people you like. im gonna be nicer or "cliquey" (the loners term) to people such as Tara for instance as she is a mate, you for example are not so why would i talk to you both the same??

This poll is worded in a very, very, very leaning manner, so I therefore refuse to vote.
This is a real community, unlike so many others (and like so many others) that exist on the Internet.
- There are people who don't get on. - There are people that appear harsh. - There are people that mis-interpret how someone means something. - There are people that get on as friends, and great friends. - There are arguments and disagreements. - There are some bloody good debates and conversations. - There are real life meets that flow over from the online thing.
This is a real community. Not everyone will get on, not everyone will appreciate each other.
Start demanding how people should behave in a real community, and the community won't last very long at all.
People who have now been told that they have to act "false" and not as themselves will soon bugger off. It will become too much effort for them.
New people that join will figure out that people are acting false, and so it won't seem a genuine community, and they too will bugger off before long.
Some new members, who may be offended at the behaviour of some of the existing Members on here don't normally stay around for too long before spitting out their dummies. Anyone joining an online community should be prepared to hang around for a bit. Read threads and posts over a few days (or maybe even a week) to work out the characters that belong to that community - find out where the banter is and how people tick.
If new Members are just going to judge from the start without actually observing the community, are they the right sort of people for CTW? Is the site currently made up of this kind of person? No. Near enough every active Member (if not all) of CTW is a free-thinking person. They've joined the community and observed it. They've worked out who people are, what they stand for and made up their own minds on each individual. But not after 24 hours.
Let's look at this in a slightly different way now. You go to a club regularly. In that club, there's a member of management you don't really like and get on with. There's a bouncer that you think is a complete cunt. There's a group of about 3 clubbers you haven't got the time of day for because they're loud, lairy, and to be completely honest they're complete cocks. The venue is smashing, though, and the event is the dog's danglies. Do you stop attending because of the 5 people you don't like are there?
I re-iterate. ClubTheWorld is a real community, with real people - it's a diverse community with diverse beliefs, characters and a genuine life running through it.
Should we turn into Little Hitler's and start controlling the people within this community? Do so, and I'm off. So will many others (if not all of you) over the next few months.

most of the new people on ere recently have been rude and annoying, so its no surprise when ctw members are rude back!!! there have however been a few nice ones that have joined and i think you;ll find the reception they have received has been completely welcoming.
its well frustrating when there are so many good people on the board to see idiots come on and ruin it. i don't say half the things i'd like to coz i cant be arsed. i am therefore grateful to the peeps on this board who do voice their opinion. i'm often in complete agreement with them!!!
members on other boards are downright rude for no reason. at least on ere if youre not an idiot you'll be treated in friendly way!
as i have been labled a newbie in the past week, i would like to know if i fit into the above catogorie
