Mod - I feel your pain - my ex scratched all my sample/project file CDs with a screwdriver - ALL - was so fucked off I had a big break from it all (like years)

With DVD-RWs out now at like £60 you cant go wrong - GET ONE ASAP !

Fuckin hell, thats well harsh.. know how it feels to lose loads (when my pc was stolen.. probably didnt have half as much as you in the way of music production stuff but i still felt it.. gutted) Hope you manage to get as much of it replaced as you can hun!!
