Wicked venue, wicked music, wicked night!

this had to be one of my strangest clubbing days.

amongst other things, i didn't get to the dance floor til 11pm, by which point i was a bit knackered - so i didn't really hear any music apart from that which was in the funky room (busy busy busy with extreme hair styles) and the "hardcore" room

now - i'm gonna have my moan. hardcore is fun. its something that is faster than hardhouse and more intense, but weaker in other areas. not NYD! music was all over the place when i went, it was shit. might as well have been a jukebox with old old crap-not-classic hardcore choons.

everyone in that room except one guy looked like they'd just stumbled out of a school disco and didn't really know where to place themselves. moo & tart bore the brunt of my discontent, but i'm sure they wud have to agree with me. even running round the room shouting "hardcore!!" in an inspiring manner just did not seem to wake the dead.

bumped into paulax later on and spent probably more time than she politely enjoyed telling her just how everyone else in the club looked like they were thinking "oh god its thursday" rather than "hoorah, its a new year. wooo. etc" Russ seemed to have the most energy on the whole dance floor - his feet weren't super glued to the ground and there was some exciting arm wiggling going on. well done Russ!

then right at the end i bumped into a sizable chunk of othre ctwers - majik, highlander, phil rr, crill, and possibly 2 others, but it was a "hi and bye". darn and drat.

overall, it was an alright day - but i continued enjoying it for the next 48 hours as it all came flooding back to me. im still not entirely sure what happened.

thanks to majik, for inviting me back to your hotel room - i'm sure your intentions were honourable like i sed, i couldn't drop out of my local crew just cos i had a better offer cos that aint the way i do things. was nice for me that you did try and twist my arm tho, appreciated.

Halliwell started off well, then started scratching and that was that. I left.

illogik and eddies scratching are different.

illogik played at my mates night (we never even knew he could scratch) and i would say he was technically better than eddie...BUT eddie knows how to scratch and how to make the crowd go wild...so he does it more for a crowd pleasing effect...were as illogik does it over a tune that can be scratched over well... does that make sense?

illogik is fucking quality tho - amazing producer and dj...one of my favs.
