Cause it was tunes like this that were sort of newish for the times. Coincided nicely with the introduction of "little fellas" on the dance scene.

i was never too keen on matt dareys version of it. not compared to the 93 version, but then the original version is a distant rose-tinted memory of version

the matt darey remix followed a matt darey formula ive noticed on 2 other of his productions from that time - his remix of 9pm (til i come) and another one i cant remember. When all 3 of these started they had practically identical effects (only difference was the pitch i think, havent listened to them for a while) and they used the same timings to drop the basslines. Of course they all then went off into their own tunes but he cheated on creating the opening drum loops by basically copying it.
